Police Called After Reports Of Large-Scale Disturbance In Romford.
Police were called to Cornell Way in Romford on Saturday evening following reports of anti-social behaviour involving a large group of young people.
Officers attended the scene at approximately 10.45pm on 20 June after concerns were raised by members of the public.
By the time police arrived, a large number of young people were seen leaving the area.
It is believed that a fight may have taken place before officers reached the scene, although no arrests have been made at this stage.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Police were called on Saturday, 20 June at 22:45hrs to reports of anti-social behaviour on Cornell Way, Romford.
“Police attended the location, where a large group of young people were seen leaving the area. It is believed that a fight took place prior to police arrival.
“No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”
The circumstances surrounding the incident are now being investigated by officers.
Anyone who witnessed the disturbance or has information that may assist police enquiries is urged to contact the Metropolitan Police.
