CAN YOU BE A SUPERHERO FOR A DAY? HAVERING VOLUNTEER CENTRE DESPERATELY NEEDS OUR HELP!

They are always there for the community, supporting others when they need it most. Now, Havering Volunteer Centre is the one asking for help, and they desperately need someone with IT and data cabling skills to step forward before time runs out. Can you be the superhero who saves the day?

Moving premises is stressful enough at the best of times, but Shelley, Rebecca and the incredible team at Havering Volunteer Centre have been hit with an unexpected problem that threatens to derail their move.

The team are preparing to move into their new premises, but they have discovered that the data lines were cut by the former tenant. They have already run new cables, but are struggling to connect them to the patch panel, which they have now been told also needs replacing.

With the movers arriving next Tuesday, time is running out, and the team urgently needs someone who can help get them connected and ready to go.

Their finances are already stretched, and the additional costs and complications have left them desperately searching for someone who can offer their technical skills and help get them over the line.

In an emotional appeal, the centre has asked whether anyone in the community can come to their rescue and help them get connected this week.

They are not asking for the impossible. They simply need someone with the right knowledge and experience to help install and connect their data cabling and replace the patch panel if necessary.

NOW IT IS OUR TURN TO HELP THEM!

Havering Volunteer Centre does incredible work supporting local people, community groups and volunteers across our borough. Shelley and her team are always working hard to help others, bring people together and make a difference to the lives of those who need support.

They give so much of their time and energy to helping our community, and now they need a helping hand themselves.

Surely, somewhere in Havering, there is an IT specialist, data cabling engineer or local business with the expertise to step forward and help?

Perhaps you work in IT, know someone who does, or run a business that could spare a little time to help this fantastic team. Even a recommendation to someone who may be able to assist could make all the difference.

The Havering Daily wants to help spread the word and find the person who can get Shelley, Rebecca and their team connected in time for their move.

If you can help, please get in touch with Havering Volunteer Centre as soon as possible.
