Angry Residents Find Pavement Strewn with Boxes of Laughing Gas Canisters Outside Hornchurch Park.
Residents who use St Andrew’s Park in Hornchurch were angered to discover boxes containing large nitrous oxide canisters, commonly known as laughing gas canisters, left strewn across the pavement outside the park on Monday morning.

Following a weekend of Halloween celebrations, residents arriving at the park found the boxes left outside, with two full boxes of canisters reportedly abandoned on the pavement.
Residents say the canisters are frequently found in the park, adding to the litter and mess that they regularly take it upon themselves to clear up.
Those who help keep the park clean were particularly angered to see yet more canisters left openly on the pavement.
St Andrew’s Park is a family space used by parents with young children, dog walkers and other local residents. They want to be able to enjoy the park without having to contend with discarded canisters and the mess left behind.
The latest discovery has once again reignited calls from residents for the park gates to be locked.
For those who regularly use and help look after St Andrew’s Park, the question is becoming increasingly pressing: how much longer should residents have to put up with this before action is taken?
