Upminster Gets Ready to Jingle All the Way! Christmas Lights, Snow and Festive Fun Coming to Town!
Get ready for an evening of Christmas magic as Upminster prepares to welcome families and friends for Christmas in Upminster 2026 on Friday 20 November, from 4pm until 8pm!
Join the festive fun as the town comes alive with entertainment, Christmas cheer and plenty of activities for all ages.
Pop into late-opening Roomes Stores for a chance to see Santa, decorate a Gingerbread Man and grab a scratch card Treasure Hunt.
You can also enjoy the festive voices of the Thames Opera Company outside the store between 5.30pm and 6pm, and again between 6.30pm and 7pm.
Upminster Junior School, at Bell Corner, will be playing host to Children’s Rides in the playground, alongside its familiar sweet stall and the lovely voices of Upminster Baptist Church Choir.
Fancy a boogie in the snow? Bedrock Radio will be opposite Upminster Library, playing all your festive favourites, with flurries of snow predicted!
There’s also free face painting at Roots in Corbets Tey Road, where you will have the chance to meet the Ice Queen for a selfie or two.
So wrap up warm, bring the family and get ready to enjoy an evening of festive fun as Upminster gets into the Christmas spirit!
