Something Sinister Is Coming to Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch This September.
Prepare to be spooked! Award-winning theatre company ThickSkin is bringing its chilling new production, It Walks Around the House at Night, to Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch from 24–26 September.

Kicking off its autumn tour, this gripping new play by former Bruntwood Prize-winner Tim Foley promises audiences a haunting mix of ghost story, psychological thriller, dark humour and unexpected twists.
The story follows an out-of-work actor who takes a job playing a ghost at an isolated old country manor. At first, it seems like an easy way to earn some money and deliver a few cheap scares. But as the nights unfold, the line between acting and reality begins to disappear — and something much darker starts to emerge.
With inventive staging, atmospheric sound and bold visual storytelling, It Walks Around the House at Night promises to take audiences deep into a world of creeping dread, mystery and the supernatural.
Following its Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch run, the production will continue its UK tour, visiting venues across England and Scotland from 2 October to 13 November.
If you love a good ghost story, this could be one theatre experience you won’t want to miss.
