Forget trick or treating! Rainham residents have been treated to something far more spectacular, as one local couple transformed their home into a spooky Halloween wonderland, raising money for a very special children’s charity.

Gemma and Lee, who live on Upminster Road North, have spent the past week turning their beautiful home into a truly spooktacular Halloween display, bringing a little fright and plenty of fun to the local community.

Their incredible Halloween house has attracted visitors from across Havering, with families coming out to enjoy a display packed with spooky surprises.

From werewolves and creepy butlers to fire-breathing dragons, the transformation has been nothing short of spectacular, providing endless entertainment for children and adults alike.

But behind all the ghoulish goings-on is a wonderful cause. Gemma and Lee have been raising money for The MCA Trust, a children’s charity supporting young people and their families.

Their efforts are a fantastic example of community spirit, with the couple opening up their Halloween creation to bring people together while helping to raise funds for charity.

Local ward councillor Sue Ospreay also joined the festivities yesterday to show her support. The MCA Trust was her chosen charity during her year as Mayor of Havering last year, making the occasion particularly special.

A huge thank you to Gemma and Lee for putting so much time, effort and imagination into creating such a wonderful display and, most importantly, using it to support a children’s charity.

Rainham certainly knows how to do Halloween, and thanks to these two fantastic community champions, there have been plenty of screams, smiles and spooky memories along the way!
