Mardyke Community Centre Set To Host Fantastic Summer Festival
Residents across South Hornchurch are being invited to come together for an afternoon of family fun as the Mardyke Community Centre hosts its annual Summer Festival on Saturday 13 June.
Running from 12pm until 4pm, the popular community event is free to enter and promises something for everyone, with a packed programme of entertainment, activities, food and community stalls.
Visitors can enjoy a wide range of refreshments and food options, including burgers, jacket potatoes, vegan food and the delicious pizzas from the incredible Ripu and her team from The Fat Pizza, who will be attending the event.
Families can look forward to plenty of activities throughout the afternoon, including a bouncy castle, tombola, charity stalls, shops, books and DVDs, and the ever-popular “Crash the Crock”.
There will also be a host of live performances and displays, with entertainment provided by the EPA and DDA, alongside exciting karate demonstrations and live music from local performer Andy Walker.
The Summer Festival has become a much-loved fixture in the local community calendar, bringing residents together while raising vital funds to support the work of the Mardyke Community Centre throughout the year.
Organisers are encouraging everyone to come along, enjoy the atmosphere and support their local community hub.
Whether you’re looking for family entertainment, delicious food, live music or simply a chance to meet friends and neighbours, the Mardyke Community Centre Summer Festival promises to be a fantastic afternoon for all ages.
Most importantly, every penny raised during the event will go towards helping the centre continue its valuable work supporting local residents and community groups.
Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy what promises to be another wonderful community celebration in the heart of South Hornchurch.
The Mardyke Community Centre Summer Festival takes place on Saturday 13 June from 12pm to 4pm. Entry is free.
