‘Our Town Hall Is Broken- Its Time To Restore Pride to Romford and Control back to Havering’.
“Havering is at a crossroads. Our Town Hall is broken. That’s why I believe local people in Romford must now rally behind Reform UK and give Havering a fresh start with new people in charge who will put Havering first.”
Andrew Rosindell M.P. launches his Romford Reform UK Team 23 for the Town Hall elections on 7th May.
Havering’s Reform UK Member of Parliament, Andrew Rosindell M.P., has launched his campaign to win all twenty three council seats in the Romford constituency on Thursday 7th May 2026, with a pledge to make resorting pride to Romford a top priority for a new Reform UK administration and working with a new Reform UK government, take back control of our borough from Sadiq Khan’s City Hall.
The M.P. is leading his Team 23 in Romford with a strong and forthright message for local residents:
“Havering needs Reform and only a complete change of administration in the Town Hall will put our borough in a better place after years of failure, let down and betrayal by Conservative, Labour and Residents’ Association led councils, all of whom must take the blame for the state Havering is now in”, said Mr. Rosindell.
The outspoken M.P. went on to say:
“One of the main reasons I decided to join Nigel Farage and Reform UK is that they are the only party willing to stand up to Khan and break free of the control that the Mayor of London has over boroughs like Havering. Only with a Reform UK Council and Government working together can we get back full control over our finances, so that our money is spent on local services in Havering and not on the Mayor’s inner London projects whilst Havering suffers and on planning and development, so that we are able to keep Havering a “Town and Country Borough” and stop Romford being turned into a concrete jungle as Khan wants and both the hopeless Conservatives and Havering Residents’ Association (H.R.A.) have supported.
Havering is at a crossroads. Our Town Hall is broken. That’s why I believe local people in Romford must now rally behind Reform UK and give Havering a fresh start with new people in charge who will put Havering first. My local Team 23 is standing to be Romford’s councillors who will be working with me all year round to help local people with local issues and focus on everyday concerns that are important to us, as local residents.
Will fight for Romford and look after our town, always putting local people first!
Havering is in desperate need of change. The election on 7th May will be a referendum on Khan and Starmer’s Labour. Only Reform UK can stop them getting power in our Town Hall as they did four years ago, with their H.R.A. allies. The Conservatives are too weak and have not idea what they stand for anymore. All those who believe in conservative values should now vote Reform UK. It is the only way forward now.
Romford needs hard-working and committed local councillors who will stand up for residents, get things done to improve our local community, restore pride in Romford and protect our “Town and Country Borough” from the Labour Mayor of London and the Labour Government.
As a Havering M.P., I ask local people across the borough to please vote for their local Reform UK candidates on 7th May and especially for my Team 23 in Romford, who if elected, will work with me to look after Romford and put Havering Town Hall back in safe hands.”
Andrew Rosindell M.P. has also confirmed that the following will be the Top Ten priorities for Reform UK Romford, if elected to Havering Council next month:
1 FIX HAVERING, REDUCE COUNCIL BUREAUCRACY AND CUT WASTE IN THE TOWN HALL TO SAVE MONEY AND PUT OUR FINANANCES IN ORDER.
2 RESTORE LOCAL CONTROL BACK TO HAVERING FROM KHAN’S CITY HALL.
3 PROTECT THE FREEDOM PASS, THE 60+ TRAVEL PASS AND THE OYSTER CARD.
4 PUT PRIDE BACK INTO ROMFORD AND REVITALISE OUR TOWN CENTRE.
5 KEEP HAVERING A TOWN AND COUNTRY BOROUGH, DEFEND ROMFORD’S CHARACTER AND STOP OVER-DEVELOPMENT.
6 CLEAN-UP HAVERING, CLAMP DOWN ON LITTER, FLY-TIPPING AND GRAFFITI.
7 REVIEW CURRENT PARKING POLICIES AND STOP UNFAIR PENALTIES AND FINES.
8 LOOK AFTER OUR PARKS, OPEN SPACES AND PROTECT THE ENVIORNMENT.
9 RESTORE OUR ROMFORD AND HORNCURCH HISTORIC TOWN CRESTS AND PROMOTE LOCAL PRIDE AND IDENTITY TO COMMUNTIES AND NEIGHBOURHOODS THROUGHOUT HAVERING, SUCH AS COLLIER ROW, GIDEA PARK, RUSH GREEN, HAVERING-ATTE-BOWER AND HORNCHURCH.
10 PROMOTE CIVIC PRIDE AND FLY THE UNION JACK ABOVE OUR TOWN HALL ONCE AGAIN, SHAMEFULLY TAKEN DOWN BY THE LABOUR/H.R.A. ADMINISTRATION FOUR YEARS AGO. ALWAYS FLY THE CROSS OF ST. GEORGE FOR ENGLAND, OUR ESSEX COUNTY FLAG AND THOSE THAT REPRESENT OUR PROUD ROYAL AND MILTARY TRADITIONS. A REFORM UK COUNCIL WILL END THE WOKE CRAZINESS IN OUR TOWN HALL AND RESPECT ALL HAVERING RESIDENTS EQUALLY.

Gr
Great insight from our community and Westminster MP we need change badly in Romford and hopefully the electorate will think likewise ..the written word below is right on the pulse
Great view on our Broken Town Hall and we are ever so lucky in Havering to have parliamentary MP in Andrew Rosindell ,,,that lets face the truth has Breathed Eaten and Slept Romford’s best interests for his whole life ,,,,,,,, a great icon in the world of parliamentary MP’s that looks after there constituents so well ,,,,,,,, We salute you Andrew as they said in the film “the Gladiator ” as that is what you truly are for the borough of Havering and the town of Romford in particular
Yet again, Mr Rosindell comes out with ‘ideas’ that pretty much everybody will agree with – tackling litter, revitalising the town centre etc – without specifying how they’re going to go about it.
How does he propose to ‘protect the 60+ Oystercard’ if he goes through with his threat to remove Havering from the GLA area ? TfL won’t subsidise it anymore and Essex won’t contribute, which means Havering residents paying more for what they had previously (sounds like Brexit all over again).
What is it with him and flags ? There are three big flagpoles in front of the Town Hall with UK & England flags flying from them. Does it matter if they’re on top of the building or not. Same with town crests: does anybody outside of Reform care one iota ?
It’s quite amusing Reform saying how Havering is broken when it was Mr Rosindell’s government and his former friends in the last administration that broke it. It’s like an arsonist being praised for turning up with a bucket of water.
This also is the party who on the world stage, would have us costing up to Trump and with a CEO who openly prefers Putin and other neo-fascists to our neighbours in Europe.
The experiences of Reform councils in Kent, Lancashire and Warwickshire should serve as a warning to anyone thinking of letting these clowns loose in the Town Hall.
These would be the ‘hopeless’ Conservative administrations that Andrew Rosindell was a previous member of and urged us to vote for once he became MP, I take it
