Police and Pupils Team Up to Tackle Dangerous Parking Outside Rainham School.
Local police have teamed up with students at Brady Primary School for a poster competition aimed at raising awareness of safe parking outside school gates along Wennington Road.
Students created fantastic posters, all of which were turned into leaflets providing clear information on safe parking and how to report parking issues to both local parking services and the Met Police.

Volunteer police cadets then hand delivered the leaflets to local homes, speaking with residents and explaining the initiative face to face.

Every poster was used in the leaflet drop, but as part of the competition, four lucky winners were presented with a certificate and a special Challenge Coin from Chief Inspector Charlie Routley.
Well done to Caelyn Pham, Bobby McNamara Huntley, Lacie Thompson, Phoebe Maynard and Tegan Hopkin.
Chief Inspector Routley told the Havering Daily: “This is a fantastic example of where the younger community help us create a safer place for people, especially children, to live and work. Illegal parking is dangerous and puts young people at risk. I would like to thank them all for being so positive in this fun competition, with a serious message.”

Illegal and dangerous parking can be reported directly to parking services or the Met Police using the links below.
