BREAKING: Man in his 30s stabbed in the head in Hornchurch.

An alleyway is cordoned off by police following the stabbing of a man in the early hours of this morning. The incident happened on Laburnum Avenue, at 2.43 am where the male aged in his 30’s has been taken to hospital. His injuries are not reported to be life threatening.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at 02:43hrs on Friday, 27 May to reports of a stabbing in Laburnum Avenue, Hornchurch.

Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service. A man, aged in his 30s, was found with a stab injury to his head. He was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening. 

It’s reported the victim was approached by a group of people who assaulted him and stole his watch. 

Enquiries to establish the circumstances are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 673/27May. To remain anonymous contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. No arrests have been made.”
