Courtney Barrett who runs the anti knife crime group ‘Binning Knives Saves Lives’ is asking London residents to come out and make their voices heard against knife crime on the 28th of April.
The anti knife crime campaigner is tired of hearing about daily stabbings and watching teenagers die on the streets of London. He told the London news section of the Havering Daily:
“Join us in front of the world’s media making our voices heard. We are tired of watching our children die everyday on the streets of London. We want our voices to be heard. Enough is enough.
“Binning Knives Saves Lives CIC along with other knife crime organisations will be dumping over 1000 knives by way of bulldozer on Sadiq Khans doorstep at City Hall. These are all the knives we have collected off the streets of east London. So please come out and support us, our children deserve the right to grow up without the fear of being stabbed.
“We want to be safe from crime and violent crime! We want money spent on vital community services we are lacking! We want money spent in the right places instead of being wasted on nonsensical schemes like LTN’s!
“We want knife crime dealt with!We want to be able to drive in our city without having to pay extortionate charges! We want to be able to afford to live in London!
“So on April 28th we must make a stand together and let our voices be heard loud and far.”
