Carol’s daughter is an ITU nurse at Queen’s hospital. On Monday she left home like many other members of the NHS to check into the Premiere Inn in Romford.
On Wednesday, after returning from a long shift at the hospital, Carol’s daughter was handed a letter by the receptionist saying they all had to leave as the premises were closing.
The doctors and nurses all found themselves on the street with no where to go and had to rely on the hospital to find them new accommodation.
New accommodation has been found in many places across the borough but our NHS staff need your help.
It is time for the community to step up to the mark and support those that are looking after the country.
We are looking for all food outlets that are offering take away food to please come forward and help feed our doctors and nurses. They are currently staying in hostels and hotels so have no cooking facility and no food when they finish a long shift.
If you are a food outlet and can supply meals for our doctors and nurses this is the time they need your help!
We are also looking for people to make food packages with non-perishable goods and snacks they could eat and drink in a hotel room.
Please help our NHS staff now! They need our help!
Peter Wheelband is co-ordinating this mission, if you would like to help please email him on firstname.lastname@example.org or messages us and we will pass on your details.
