The Queen’s Theatre in Hornchurch held its first ever ‘Elderly People’s Fair’ this afternoon.
Organised by the Hornchurch and Upminster MP Julia Lopez, the event was a roaring success.
The fair had many stalls on hand for elderly residents to gather advice and help if needed.
Advice was given from the local police, the fire service, Tapestry, Peabody and even a beautician there to offer useful beauty tips for the elderly.
65 year old Ronnie told the Havering Daily ‘It’s been a very nice event to attend. I have come here today with my wife and we have both found the day really helpful and picked up lots of useful information. Plus we’ve enjoyed listening to the choir.‘
