VIDEO-‘It was Two Hours Of Utter Mayhem’-Youths Enter School Hall Armed With A Machete.

Reports of several youths stabbed as police make arrests on the streets of Elm Park.

Youths attacked police officers and teenage girls screamed in their faces as police rushed to Elm Park in a night of utter chaos.

An event was held in the hall of Elm Park Primary School, Maylands Avenue, believed to have been organised by a group of teenagers. The event turned into mayhem when a gang of 50 plus youths entered the premises armed with knives and machetes.

Locals living nearby were witness to what happened last night, one told the Havering Daily: “It began around 9pm. We saw between 50-60 teenagers standing outside the school drinking and inhaling balloons. They then entered the school hall and we heard the screams and everyone spilt out on the street. They began fighting and we could hear more screams as the fighting continued outside our houses.

“The police first arrived in two cars and tried to deal with these youths that were very aggressive, with the girls going up into their faces and screaming at them. We could see some of the youths limping, as we believe they had been stabbed.

“More police vehicles then arrived including a dog unit that then helped make arrests and disperse the rest from our street.It really was chaos for about two hours.

“Our street this morning was left in a complete mess with broken bottles, and empty gas canisters everywhere. The school caretaker and us residents came out to clear it up.

“The school should not allow events like this to take place, especially where alcohol is allowed on the premises.”
