Upminster collision between car and lorry. Woman taken to hospital.

The A127 near the Upminster turn off was closed off earlier this afternoon following a collision between a car and a lorry. The Air Ambulance was on scene as a female driver was taken to hospital.

A police spokesperson told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called to the A127 at 14.48hrs on Monday, 4 January to reports of a collision between a car and a lorry.

“Officers attended along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade.
The female driver of the car was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. Her condition has been assessed as non life-threatening.”
