A man in his 60’s was stabbed in Romford last night and taken to an east London hospital. The incident happened just before 8pm on Parkside Avenue. A person was arrested on scene for suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service shortly before 20:00hrs on Thursday, 26 November to reports of a man suffering from stab injuries on Parkside Avenue in Romford.
“Officers attended. A man, aged in his early 60’s, was taken by the LAS to an east London hospital. We await an update on his condition.
“One person was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.”
