‘Burger Bill’ from Harold Hill is doing an amazing job feeding the local community. Since the country’s lockdown Bill is delivering his burgers to the locals in Havering.
He is also handing out free food to the homeless and a 25% discount to NHS staff and emergency workers.
Bill told the Havering Daily: ” I don’t know how long I can do this for but I will serve my community for as long as I can. Sunday as it stands I can do 12 meals for the elderly which will be a roast dinner.
“If you have an elderly person next door to you that needs help please call 07885676699. WE can’t help everyone but we are doing our best, so if you know someone who would love a burger or roast meal, please let us know.
“We will be open from 10am till 10pm today. Everything food wise item or meal you buy £1 will go towards helping to elderly in Harold Hill on Sunday 29th.
“Please don’t be offended but there will be a 2metre boundary if collecting, we ask you please understand this one of two rules. Second is we are bang in the middle of people’s homes so BE QUIET PLEASE!
” I am also offering free food for the homeless. I will speak to the church in Harold Hill tomorrow and hopefully the homeless will be able to go there. They will be welcome to attend and order and we will deliver. I ask you don’t come to the stall for my family and my safety once again.
25% off will be available for NSH STAFF, HEALTH CARE WORKERS, POLICE AND FIRE SERVICES, Please show your badge at take away or delivery.
