Harold Hill Community Fun Day Set To Return! A Day of Fun for Everyone!
Havering residents are being invited to come together for a day of family fun, community spirit and partnership working as the “Our Harold Hill” Community Fun Day returns to Central Park, Harold Hill, on Saturday 5th September 2026.
Running from 11am to 3pm, the free event forms part of the ongoing Our Harold Hill Clear, Hold, Build project, bringing together residents, local organisations, emergency services, charities and youth services to celebrate everything that makes Harold Hill a strong, proud and vibrant community.
Following the tremendous success of last year’s event, which attracted thousands of residents, this year’s Community Fun Day promises to be bigger and better than ever. Organised in partnership between Havering Police, Havering Council and RM3 Events, the day reflects the core Clear, Hold, Build principle that lasting change is achieved when communities and local agencies work together to create safer, stronger neighbourhoods.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet representatives from local emergency services, including the Metropolitan Police, London Fire Brigade and other partner organisations, while learning more about the services and support available within the local area.
A wide range of charities, community groups and youth organisations will also be in attendance, showcasing their work and helping residents connect with opportunities, activities and support networks available throughout the year.
Families can enjoy a host of free attractions, including inflatables, face painting, games, entertainment and community stalls, alongside live performances from local dance groups and singers. There will also be opportunities to engage with local projects, meet neighbourhood officers and speak directly with organisations committed to making Harold Hill an even better place to live.
Inspector Charlie Routley, of Havering Safer Neighbourhoods, said:
“We are proud to be working alongside RM3 Events, local residents, community groups and partner organisations to deliver this year’s Our Harold Hill Community Fun Day.
The event is all about bringing people together and celebrating the strong sense of community and local pride that makes Harold Hill such a special place. Through the “Our Harold Hill – Clear Hold Build” project, we are committed to working with residents to create lasting positive change, and this day showcases the very best of what can be achieved when a community comes together.
With local emergency services, charities, youth organisations, free inflatables and face painting all taking part, we hope the event will give residents a fantastic opportunity to connect with one another and celebrate everything Harold Hill has to offer.”
Alexandra Vella, of RM3 Events, said:
“RM3 Events are incredibly proud to once again be working in collaboration with our local services in supporting the delivery of this fantastic community event. It’s always a privilege to play our part in bringing Harold Hill together, creating a fun-filled day for families and the wider community. We’re excited to be back and can’t wait to make this year’s event another huge success!”
The event will take place at Central Park, Harold Hill, and entry is completely free.
Residents are encouraged to bring family and friends, enjoy the activities on offer, meet local organisations and celebrate the strength, diversity and spirit of the Harold Hill community.
