Chaos erupted just before midnight on Saturday 18 April in Billet Lane, Hornchurch, after police were called to reports of a large fight involving a group armed with glass bottles.
Officers rushed to the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service, finding multiple people injured in what has been described as a violent and dangerous confrontation. Four men were taken to hospital with injuries consistent with being struck by bottles. Thankfully, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
