VIDEO: Positive Day of Action held in Redbridge.

The London news section of the Havering Daily joined a fantastic day of action held yesterday, Thursday 9 of December, by Redbridge Council, working with enforcement officers and our local East Area police.

Teams gathered outside of the new Enforcement Hub based on Manford Way, that opened last week, and from there hit the streets to talk to local residents, shop keepers, under take weapon sweeps and focus on local hot spots.

The Leader of the Council Councillor Jas Athwal and Cabinet Member for Crime, Safety and Community Cohesion Councillor Khayer Chowdury joined police officers and council enforcement officers to walk the streets of Redbridge.

Officers chatted with local residents and shop keepers about any issues they may have and how to best deal with them.

This was one of the ongoing days of action Redbridge Council hosts and was very successful with some great community interaction.
