A 14 year old boy has been struck by a car in a hit and run incident in Harold Hill this afternoon. The incident happened at the Hilldene shopping area just before 4 pm this afternoon.
A spokesperson for the Met police told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called at 15:38hrs on Thursday, 10 June to reports of a car in collision with a child on Hilldene Avenue in Romford.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. A 14-year-old boy was taken to an east London hospital for treatment to a minor injury.
“The driver failed to stop at the scene and enquiries are ongoing to trace them.
“There have been no arrests.”
