Drugs and rambo knife taken off east London streets.

On Thursday May 7th East Area Drugs Focus desk obtained two section 46 Firearms and two section 23 Drugs warrants for an address in Frinton Mews, Hainault.

The Drugs Focus Desk, Violence Suppression Unit Proactive Team and Violence Suppression Unit Teams executed the warrants with Firearms officers. As a result, a male was arrested for Person With Intent to Supply Drugs and another male was arrested for being concerned in supply of drugs.

A large quantity of cannabis, scales and phones were seized and a rambo knife was recovered. Particular thanks to City of London for allowing Police Dog Lloyd to assist in the operation. Police Dog Lloyd was able to find a substantial amount of items including those captured in photos.

Detective Inspector Hutchinson, who co-ordinated the operation said: “This operation was key to those targeting those individuals intent on committing criminality within our communities.

“I would like to thank all of our colleagues across East Area Proactive Drugs Focus Desk and Violence Suppression Unit, Firearms Command, City of London Police Dog Lloyd for their combined efforts and hard work in securing the successful outcome achieved on Saturday 8th of May.”
