VIDEO: Hornchurch Pub appeals to community for help after theft of plant pots and table and chairs.

The Rising Sun pub in Hornchurch is appealing to anyone who may have witnessed thieves stealing large plant pot holders and their table and chairs from outside of the pub in the early hours of Tuesday 15th of September.

The theft took place just after 3 am and CCTV footage shows a white van pull up and thieves remove the two large plant pot holders and the pub’s table and chairs that is used for the outside of the pub for customers to be able to enjoy their drinks in the summer sun.

James from the Rising Sun told the Havering Daily: “We are appealing to anyone who may have seen the van pull up outside the pub yesterday morning. Or to anyone who may have seen our stolen items.

“We have lost our two plant pot holders with all our flowers and we have lost our table and chairs we had outside the pub.

“We are appealing to the community to see if anyone knows anything , this is not a nice thing to happen.”
