VIDEO: A Barber encouraging people to come in and talk.

Miller and Coleby a barbershop in Hornchurch is not just your average barbers. Co-owner Luke is encouraging both men and women to come into the salon to talk and share their problems.

He has placed a notice on the door encouraging all members of the community to come in and talk about their problems.

Luke told the Havering Daily:Three years ago I had a mental breakdown. Last August I decided to open a barbershop, I wanted it open plan so everybody could talk.

When you go to your barber’s you often share problems with them and I wanted to build on this. Like another form of therapy.

I’m keen to make this not just a barbershop, but a community point for people to come in and chat.

We are often in situations where we feel trapped or feel like we can’t reach out to people. I’d like my barbershop to be a place where you can come in and talk.
