Pedestrian fighting for her life following crash in Crow Lane.
A pedestrian is in a critical condition following a crash this morning along Crow Lane.
The incident took place just after 6am and is the second this week as nearby residents have re-named this the ‘road of death’ following the crashes.
It is believed that two pedestrians were struck whilst walking on the pavement near the Royal Mail sorting office. Both were rushed to an east London hospital where one pedestrian is believed to be in a critical condition and fighting for her life.
Local resident Andy who lives just off Crow Lane told The Havering Daily:
“This road is getting worse, last Thursday there was another car accident and now this. This road is so dangerous its frightening to think of what will happen next. It is now known as the ‘road of death’ because of all the accidents that have happened here.”
The road is now open again, however a police cordon and van are still in place just near Romford Cemetery.
