VIDEO: Ditch your knives and join a boxing club instead.

Members of ‘Take A knife Save A Life’ joined forces with Greenwood Boxing Gym last night to do patrols around hotspots in Hornchurch.

Stephen Gowers and Robert Dean alongside other volunteers, patrolled the troubled areas of Hornchurch with Kevin and Kelly Greenwood from the Ardeligh Green based boxing club.

The aim of the patrols were not just to take knives off our streets here in Havering but also to encourage teenagers to ditch their knives and join a boxing club instead.

The team spoke to many teenagers out on the streets and urged them to dump their knives and join a boxing club instead to get them off the streets.
