Four students from Rainham’s Construction and Engineering Campus have been praised for their quick thinking and bravery after they rushed to help a member of the public who had suffered burns in an attack outside the college gates.
As 2025 draws to a close, it is the perfect moment to recognise the extraordinary courage of our police officers across London. Praise for police officers is a rarity, and far too often the heroic work they do goes unnoticed. Poor communication from police forces compounds this, with very little said publicly about the life-saving, courageous acts carried out every single day. In a world where headlines often focus on controversy, the bravery and selflessness of these men and women is too easily overlooked.
