A mental health charity in Havering, Barking and Dagenham has launched ‘Thorpey’s Bat and Chat’, a new programme using cricket to help people improve their mental health and wellbeing.
Hornchurch Cricket Club clinched the European championship, overcoming the absence of their injured captain, Billy Gordon, with Marc Whitlock’s leadership. Their recent successes include the Treble, League Cup, T20 Essex Championship, Conference Cup, National T20 Cup, and now the prestigious European championship. Their focus now shifts to winning the National 40-over Cup.
