Police Clear Hold Build Success Continues Across Harold Hill As Anti Social Behaviour drops By Half And Shoplifting Reduced By 35%.

The police initiative Clear, Hold, Build, was launched last December and has continued its success. The scheme has been implemented through the hard work of local Harold Hill officers led by Chief Inspector Charlie Routley who has worked tirelessly with his officers, the local community, and other partners such as Havering council to tackle anti social behaviour in the area and the ongoing issues of shoplifting that blighted the Farnham Road shops.

Havering Fabian Society Celebrate Their 50th Anniversary.

On Monday 21st October Havering Fabian Society celebrated it’s 50th Anniversary with a dinner at “Stay Restaurant” in Emerson Park. The Society was formed in 1974 by a quartet of activists : Dr.Bill Baker, Basil Newton, John Scott and Alan Thake. The latter served for decades as its Honorary Secretary.

On Wednesday 16 October Havering Police took part in a day of action across Harold Hill as part of the ongoing Clear,Hold Build project. Officers joined forces with British Transport Police, and Havering Council Enforcement officers led by Jane Eastaff who does an excellent job across the borough.
