Despite pulling a knife on a man and his partner sitting on a bench, Morfett walked away from court with a suspended sentence.
The exclusive video footage sent to the Havering Daily shows the moment 20 year old Alan Morfett pulled a knife on a man sitting on a bench in Harold Hill.
The incident happened in on Saturday 22 June this year, when Morfett from Romford, was at the Hilldene shopping area on Farnham Road. The incident left passer by’s shocked at what they saw.
Morfett was wearing a balaclava despite it being the middle of the summer and is seen being pulled away from another male and running along the street.
At court last week-he was handed a ten month suspended sentence.
Police undertook fast time investigations and located Morfett the day after when he was arrested. He remained in custody until his court case at Snaresbrook Crown Court last week and was then given a ten month suspended sentence by the judge.
