ROMFORD MP JOINS LOCAL COMMUNITY FOR WONDERFUL HARVEST CELEBRATION
Romford MP Andrew Rosindell joined residents and local councillors for a wonderful Harvest celebration at All Saints Church, Squirrels Heath, in Ardleigh Green, Hornchurch.
The event brought the community together to give thanks for the food we eat and recognise the farmers who work throughout the year to provide it.
Mr Rosindell was joined by Squirrels Heath ward councillors Martynas Cekavicius, Christine Vickery and Tom Vickery.
The celebration was made even more special by Wellgate Community Farm, which brought along farm animals for visitors to see, with Mr Goose proving a particular highlight!
Thanking everyone who helped organise the occasion, Mr Rosindell said: “Thank you to Rev. Lisa and to all the church members and volunteers for hosting such a lovely occasion to celebrate Harvest and to Wellgate Community Farm for bringing along their farm animals for all to see, especially Mr Goose!”
The event was a lovely opportunity for the local community to come together, celebrate the Harvest and show appreciation for those who help put food on our tables.
