Dagenham and Rainham MP Condemns Racially Motivated Vandalism.
Dagenham and Rainham MP, Margaret Mullane, acted swiftly when she was alerted to criminal damage to vehicles in Elm Park this week. The graffiti sprayed onto the vehicles had a clear racist motivation.
Margaret said: “The racist graffiti on the vehicles is distressing and will not be tolerated in our community. No one should have to suffer this, and I wish to thank the police for their quick response.
I would ask that any local people who have dashcam or CCTV footage to contact the police, as we all need to do all we can to find and prosecute those responsible. We need to send a strong message, racism and criminality will not be tolerated in our community.
I would also urge as the local MP, that if anyone has any concerns, please contact me.”
