The Sushi Co Launches In Romford.

LONDON’S POPULAR FRESH SUSHI EATERIE TO OPEN ON SOUTH STREET, WITH HUNDREDS OF FREE ROLLS AND OFFERS.

Romford’s newest addition is one of the UK’s fastest-growing restaurant chains opening at 67 South Street this week.

The Sushi Co is taking over the old Parma shop in Liberty Shopping Centre right next to The Brewery, making it the perfect spot for pre-cinema food.

The venue has been completely refurbished to include The Sushi Co’s unique offering: a Live Sushi Kitchen in which chefs make top of the range, fresh food in minutes, in front of customers – described as ‘delicious’ and ‘heaven sent’ on Trip Advisor. It has seating for approximately 30 people, including an outdoor seating area.

“No other high street sushi restaurants include live kitchens where you can see the food being prepared, it’s one of the reasons we’re so popular, as people really value fresh ingredients and kitchen skills when it comes to this cuisine,” says new Romford manager Toheed Ahktar. “Our point of difference is that our food is fresh in minutes. Every other premium sushi chain boxes their food and keeps it in the chiller for hours. Ours is made fresh to order, every single time.”

The opening will create eight new jobs across front-of-house and kitchen roles. From 11am until late night, chefs will prepare a wide range of dishes fresh on-site, including hosomaki, uramaki, nigiri, sashimi, poke bowls, curries and gyozas.

The Sushi Co is growing fast: this is the 33rd outlet and there are plans to open 9 more venues this year. With delivery, click & collect and eat-in, every type of diner is catered for. Fans include TOWIE stars Junaid Ahmed, Jodie Wells and Lauren Goodger, Strictly Come Dancing’s Nikita Kanda, Love Island’s Indiyah, and Bollywood stars Jasmin Walia and Zack Knight. 

The grand opening event will take place on Saturday 13 June from 12pm onwards. Expect traditional Japanese Taiko drummers, a balloon artist, temporary tattoos and 500 free rolls given away!
