London Rally Calling For An End To Fox Hunting.

A rally is being held near the Houses of Parliament in Westminster on Saturday, May 9 to call for new stronger fox hunting laws.

It is being organised by national animal welfare charity the League Against Cruel Sports and comes as a government consultation on the future of hunting with dogs is taking place, with plans to ban so-called trail hunting.

The event will feature speakers including conservationists and TV presenters Chris Packham and Megan McCubbin, actor Peter Egan, Badger Trust chief executive Nigel Palmer and League Against Cruel Sports chief executive Emma Slawinski.

The rally will be attended by campaigners from the League Against Cruel Sports, Hunt Saboteurs Association, RSPCA, Wildlife and Countryside Link, and the wider general public.
