Dispersal Zone Enforced as Police Move to Prevent Disorder in Hornchurch.
Another Section 35 Dispersal Order has been issued across Hornchurch following information received by officers revealing there is a potential for anti social behaviour across the area.
The order, brought in under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, comes after recent intelligence gathered by Hornchurch Safer Neighbourhood Teams.
The dispersal order began at yesterday, 3pm on 1 April 2026 and will remain in place until 3pm on 3 April 2026.
The zone covers a wide area including Upper Rainham Road, Wood Lane, Abbs Cross Lane, Suttons Avenue, Station Lane, Ravensbourne Grove, Hacton Lane, Upminster Road, High Street, North Street, Billet Lane and Hornchurch Road.
Officers will be carrying out increased patrols and using a range of policing tactics throughout the week and into the weekend as part of a wider effort to tackle ongoing anti social behaviour across the borough.
Residents can expect to see a strong police presence as teams work proactively to prevent disorder and keep the community safe.
Police are urging anyone with concerns to report incidents so officers can take swift action.
