London News:Police Launch Murder Investigation After 39 Year old Woman Found Dead.

Met detectives have launched a murder investigation following the death of a 39-year-old woman at an address on Old Brompton Road, Earls Court. Police were called on Wednesday, 10 December at 11:15hrs for a welfare check, and sadly found the woman’s body at the scene. Efforts are ongoing to identify her and inform her next of kin.

Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley, leading the investigation at Specialist Crime, said: “My team are conducting urgent enquiries to establish the full circumstances that led to this woman’s tragic death. I know this news will cause concern among the local and wider community. I would like to reassure them that our investigation remains a priority. My upmost sympathy goes to the victim’s family and friends during this painful time. I urge anyone who has information about this incident to contact us as soon as possible.”

No arrests have been made at this stage. A post-mortem examination will be held in due course. A scene remains in place on Old
