Time FM Celebrates Record-Breaking Listener Loyalty
Time FM has reached a remarkable milestone, with new figures revealing the station now boasts the highest average listening time of any radio station in the UK.
In the latest industry survey, the Romford-based station achieved an average listening time of 15.5 hours per week — a figure that places it above more than 200 stations across the country, including major national and London-based broadcasters.

“This is the highest listener loyalty I’ve ever seen in my career,” said the station’s long-time programmer, Mark Dover, who has been at the helm of Time FM for 21 years.
“We were already proud to be in the top seven nationally with 12.4 hours — but to now be number one is an unbelievable achievement.”
The milestone comes alongside a rise in overall listenership, further cementing Time FM’s role as a trusted local voice and a staple of the community.
Most stations would kill for this level of loyalty,” Mark added.
“We’re in a fiercely competitive London market, which makes this even more special. I’m grateful to our dedicated team — many of whom are friends — for making the station what it is.”
Time FM continues to provide entertainment and music that reflects the lives of people across Havering and beyond.
“Thank you to everyone who tunes in. Your support makes Time FM the best radio station in the world — at least in our hearts.”
