Emerson Park School football teams become Havering Champions!

Emerson Park Academy in Hornchurch celebrated two major sports wins in football this week. The U16 girls football team became Havering Champions following a 3-1 victory over Coopers. This is a group of young pupils that have won three consecutive Havering titles, one as U14’s and two at U16’s. Goals on the night from Halle and Peyton. Player of The Match, Halle and Fran.

The Emerson U16 football team are Havering Champions for the second year in a row. A group of girls who have now won three Havering titles in a row.

A hard- fought game against Coopers which was 1-1 at half-time. It was the last ten minutes when the girls got their 2nd and 3rd goals.

A fantastic achievement for a great group of girls and a great last game for some Year 11 leavers that the academy are sad to see leave in the coming months.

Congratulations girls!

The Year 7 boys football team are Havering Champions following their victory against Hall Mead in the final, winning 7-2.

A fantastic first 20 minutes when the boys came out like a rocket, which was combined with some deadly finishing, meant the boys went in, half-time, 5-0 up.

Hall Mead came out a different team in the second half and applied much more pressure and the second half finished 2-2.

Well done to all the boys who played in the final, but also the lads who have done their part in the different group games over the year.

Goals from; Riley, Freddie, Ebraheem, Harley, Nathan and OG.
