A fight is believed to have taken place on Crown Drive in Romford last night that has left a man in his 20s with stab injuries.

Police attended the scene at 10.35pm and found a car crashed into a fence and blood at the scene. Officers made their way to Queen’s Hospital where a man was found suffering with stab injuries.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at 22:35 on Thursday, 6 July to a report of a fight at an address on Crown Drive, Romford.
Officers attended and found no trace of anyone involved, however a car was found crashed into a fence and abandoned. Blood was also present at the scene. A crime scene was put in place.
The officers attended a nearby hospital where they found a man, aged in his 20s, with stab injuries.
Enquiries continue.”
