Construction company donates new TV to community centre

A Grays based construction company has generously gifted a brand new smart television and mount to a south Hornchurch Community Centre.

The John F Hunt Group, who celebrate their 40th anniversary this year, and is an encompassment of many construction-related businesses, including demolition and nuclear decommissioning, offered their support to the Mardyke Community Centre after hearing the centre could benefit from a new T.V.

The centre which is based in South Hornchurch, provides a valuable service to the community but operates with limited funding and support. When the John F Hunt Group heard the centre was looking to upgrade some of its older electrical equipment, they volunteered to buy a brand new smart T.V. and wall mount to match.

Community Centre Manager Lesley Blowers told the Havering Daily:

“We are very grateful to the John F Hunt Group for their very generous donation. Our other T.V’s are older models and this new smart T.V. will bring the centre into the 21st century. It is always nice when a local business is able to give support to us.”.
