Prolific offender charged with four counts of GBH as he injures four police officers following a pursuit.

East Area police have charged a prolific offender with four counts of Grievous Bodily Harm with intent, Aggravated Vehicle Taking and Dangerous Driving following a pursuit between Rainham and Dagenham on Wednesday 1 December. The offender injured four police officers in the process.

East Area Violent Suppression Unit pursued a stolen car from a burglary and were rammed multiple times by the suspect before he was arrested.

Injuring Emergency Services workers whilst they are doing their job is completely unacceptable and has no place in our society. We hope these officers make a speedy recovery.
