Havering Street Watch Volunteers and staff from Upminster Costa join forces to clean up Upminster Park.

On a lovely sunny Saturday afternoon in Upminster, locals came together to help litter pick their park.

The team from Upminster Costa and Havering Street Watch volunteers teamed up to help clean up some of the rubbish left in Upminster Park.

Sally Miller chair of Havering Street Watch (Ward Councillor Elm Park) told the Havering Daily: “It was really nice of Kafeel and his team to organise this event and invite us along to help. It’s heart warming to know that local businesses have our communities at their heart.”

The day ended with refreshing drinks and chocolates organised by Kafeel and a special cake to celebrate Street Watch Volunteer Graham’s big 60 birthday!

Councillor Miller finished: “Thank you to all his staff for giving up their Saturday afternoon to come along and and as ever I am eternally grateful for the hard work and dedication of all the Street Watch Volunteers who work tirelessly to help look after our local community”.
