The Romford MP Andrew Rosindell yesterday celebrated ‘Freedom Day’ the day the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union.
‘Havering delivered the highest vote to leave of any borough in Greater London. What a proud moment for our borough and wonderful moment for the British people,” he proudly said.
“Five years ago yesterday the British people decided to restore the ability of the United Kingdom to control its own destiny, ending for good the UK’s mistaken experiment in joining a ‘political union’ with the EU. It was the best decision we ever made and we will never look back.
“As Chair person of the Havering Vote Leave campaign, I was proud to unite people across our borough from all political parties and lead the efforts across Havering to achieve a huge vote to leave the EU.
“The people of Havering did not let our nation down, voting 70% to leave.”
