Hugo’s Pie and Mash is coming to Willow Parade in Cranham in January. The pie and mash shop is a family run business that pride’s itself in traditional English food such a pie, mash and liquor.
Owner Stevie told the Havering Daily: “We currently run a horsebox in Brentwood that sells pie and mash that has been very successful. We started the business when my partner Jason was always moaning that he could not get a decent pie and mash anywhere.
“We began with the horsebox and are now expanding to our first take away shop in Havering.”
The shop is due to open in the middle of January and will be a take away service.
“As the horsebox in Brentwood has been so popular, we decided that now was the right time to open our first shop. When Covid struck earlier in the year and we were all at home, my partner Jason began to plan out how to open our first take away shop and here we are.”
Hugo’s pie and mash caters for everyone including vegans I am pleased to say.
Stevie added: “We have gluten free pies and vegan pies that are very popular. We also have an amazing cheesecake and a new sticky toffee cake that is very delicious.” Stevie and her partner Jason are both Londoners who have decided to bring a taste of delicious traditional English food to Cranham.
The family business will be opening in January next year along Willow Parade in Cranham.
