Back Our Bobbies: 77 new police volunteer cadets join Upminster group.
A new police volunteer cadet group in Upminster saw a whopping 77 cadets arrive to an introductory meeting last week.
Parents and young people across the borough came to the Coopers Company and Coborn School in St Mary’s Lane for their first ever meeting last Thursday 8th of October.
Police cadet leaders PC Anthony Kiddle and PC Taff Edwards MBE hosted the meeting to welcome the new recruits and their parents.
PC Taff Edwards told the Havering Daily: “We have had an amazing number of young people arrive at our introductory meeting and had some fantastic feedback from parents. “
The meetings take place every Thursday from 7-9pm at Coopers School in Upminster.
