A Harold Hill woman lives in constant fear of her neighbour who fires air rifles at her family and animals and killed one of her cats cutting her head and tail off and leaving her body on the pavement.
Donna from Bosworth Avenue told the Havering Daily: “I feel like I’m living in a nightmare. It began a while ago when I cut back some overgrown bushes on my fence that back onto this man’s fence.
“He lives in retirement flats and my fence is next to his communal garden. When we cut the bushes down he started to fire air rifles at my fence. He then fired shots at my cats. I noticed one of my cats had a lump so I rushed her to vet and he removed a pellet from her.”
As result of this Donna built a ‘catio’ in her garden for her animals to use as she was scared what the man would do next.
“He leans out of his window and fires shots at us. We stopped using our garden because we are scared of what he will do.
“I call the police when he fires shots and they speak with him and then he gets worse! He carries on firing shots at my fence and then I found my little cat Paris that I had reared from a kitten, outside of his house with her head and tail cut off.”
Now, as result of the man’s ongoing actions, Donna has stopped using her garden.
“We are too scared of what he will do next. We can’t live like this. I have a beautiful garden but I’m frightened to let my children and animals out there in case he fires shots at us.
“Last week we actually had a little bbq and decided to use the garden and once again he started firing his air rifle at us. We can’t live like this, I’m scared for my family and my animals. I don’t know what he will do next.”
