Lambs Lane closed due to traffic collision as motorcyclist seriously injured.

Lambs Lane South and New Road in Rainham remain closed following a serious traffic collision earlier today. A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital suffering with serious injuries.

A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily: “At approximately 12:38hrs on Friday, 24 July police were called to a road traffic collision between a motorcyclist and a van at Lambs Lane South, Rainham.”

“Officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended and a motorcyclist was found with serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

“No one else is believed to have been injured.

“No arrests have been made.”

Enquiries continue and Lambs Lane South and New Road in Rainham remain closed in both directions.
