Four year old Freya walks thirty miles to raise money for charity.

Four year old Freya Boyling from Rainham is a very special little girl.

Before lockdown began Freya would visit her great nan at her care home on a weekly basis to sit with her, play bingo with the residents and generally put a smile on their faces. She is a very caring little girl who knows how to make others smile.

Freya’s great nan sadly has dementia and does not talk, but it is little Freya who knows just how to cheer her up and make her great granny smile.

Since lock down sadly Freya has not been able to see her great nan that she calls Nanny Quiet. So she has made the most of this time to raise money for the dementia charity by walking 30 miles.

Freya’s dad Stuart told the Havering Daily:She is a very caring child, she always looks after others and makes us proud.

She really enjoys walking so we decided during lockdown to walk and raise money for charity at the same time. We wanted to raise £30 for thirty miles and we achieved that straight away and its got bigger and bigger.”

Freya and her family are walking two miles a day in many of the Havering parks to raise money for dementia.
