A man has been sentenced to six weeks’ imprisonment after failing to appear in court following a shoplifting offence.
Jerome Constance, 43 was arrested and charged with numerous shoplifting offences committed in Dagenham in 2024. Constance is a prolific offender in the area with a long history of theft related offences. Officers worked with partners and the community to identify him as a key offender in the area.
