The Havering Daily recently reported on an Upminster woman who was left furious after being slapped with a parking ticket on St Mary’s Lane despite her car being clearly broken down has now had her appeal denied. She had been stranded in the cold while waiting for the AA to tow her car after a dead battery left her vehicle completely immobilised.
An Upminster woman says she was left “shaking with cold and disbelief” after a parking warden slapped a ticket on her broken-down car while she was standing just feet away, waiting three hours for a tow truck in bitter weather.
